Fubeta-PF Tablet is a combination of two medicines that helps in preventing migraine. This medicine is not used for treatment of acute migraine attack. Fubeta-PF Tablet should be taken on empty stomach but try to have it same time regularly at a fixed time preferably at night. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. Lifestyle modifications like avoiding stress, smoking, and processed food items may help this medicine work better.
Fubeta-PF Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Propranolol and Flunarizine which prevents migraine. Propranolol is a beta blocker and Flunarizine is a calcium channel blocker. They work by stabilizing the reactive nerve cells and increasing the threshold to migraine activation. They also inhibit cortical spreading depression (CSD- electric waves that move across the brain and cause pain and inflammation).
In which conditions is the use of Fubeta-PF Tablet contraindicated?
Fubeta-PF Tablet is contraindicated in patients with allergy to any of its ingredients or excipients, including propranolol. Patients with a history of asthma, slow heart rate, abnormal heart rhythms, or heart conditions such as AV block or sick sinus syndrome should not use this medication because it contains propranolol. Additionally, the use of Fubeta-PF Tablet is contraindicated in patients with a history of depression or Parkinson's disease due to its flunarizine content.
What are the instructions for the storage and disposal of Fubeta-PF Tablet?
