Freshwell Eye Drop BAK Free is a combination of medicines used to treat dry eyes, relieving symptoms such as pain, discomfort, and irritation. Freshwell Eye Drop BAK Free is to be used only in the affected eye in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening. The common side effects of this medicine include stinging, itching, irritation, and blurred vision. If these side effects persist for a longer duration, please consult your doctor. In case by accident, this medicine goes into your ears, nose, or mouth, immediately rinse it with water. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or are allergic to this medicine or taking any other medication. It is advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery after use of this medicine in case you experience symptoms that can affect your ability to drive.
Freshwell Eye Drop BAK Free is a combination of two lubricating medicines: Polyethylene Glycol (Eye Drop) and Propylene Glycol which treat dry eyes. They work similar to natural tears and provide temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness of the eye.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.
- Your doctor has prescribed Freshwell Eye Drop BAK Free to reduce dryness in the eyes.
- Do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface.
- Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the medication.
- Make sure to use it within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
- Try to keep your environment less dry by reducing excessive use of room heaters or using a humidifier.
- Wear glasses or sunglasses to protect your eyes from wind and dust when out in a hot dry climate.
- Rest your eyes by taking regular breaks if you spend long periods in front of a screen.
