Freego Granules is a combination of lactitol monohydrate and ispaghula. Lactitol monohydrate works by increasing peristalsis (contractions) in the colon leading to an increase in the number of bowel movements. Ispaghula Husk works by absorbing water and increasing stool volume making it softer and easier to pass out.
How should Freego Granules be taken?
Take Freego Granules exactly as your doctor tells you to or as directed on the package label. Pour a scoop of granules (15g) into a glass of water (about 150 ml), stir well, and then drink the liquid as soon as possible.
