Floxicure 50mg Syrup is an antibiotic medicine used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections in children, including those affecting the eyes, ears, nose, throat, lungs, skin, abdomen, and urinary tract. Floxicure 50mg Syrup is an antibiotic medicine commonly given to children for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections. It is also a part of the multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) treatment regimen. Give Floxicure 50mg Syrup to your child orally, preferably at a fixed time, either before or after meals. The dose and duration depend upon the type and severity of the infection, your child's age, and body weight, so stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed by the doctor.
Floxicure 50mg Syrup is an antibiotic. It interferes with the genetic material of bacteria by implanting defects in its DNA. These defects hamper the multiplication of the bacteria and affect its survival as well. Thus, it kills the infection-causing bacteria from growing further and prevents the infection from spreading without making them resistant to further treatment.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Floxicure 50mg Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case diarrhea develops as a side effect. Conditions like common cold and flu are caused by viruses. Never use this medicine for such conditions. Discontinue Floxicure 50mg Syrup and inform the doctor immediately if your child develops a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or has difficulty in breathing. Only give Floxicure 50mg Syrup to your child for their current infection. Never save medicine for future illnesses.

Alcohol

Breastfeed
Floxicure 50mg Syrup is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
