Ferrocin capsule is a medication used to treat iron deficiency anemia, iron deficiency due to chronic blood loss or low intake of iron, and nutritional anemia, especially during pregnancy and lactation. Ferrocin capsule is a combination medication containing Ferrous sulphate, Folic Acid, Vitamin B12, Vitamin B6, and Vitamin C. It works by improving hemoglobin levels, transporting oxygen throughout the body, and maintaining red blood cells. It also helps in the production of healthy red blood cells and prevents anemia.
Ferrous sulphate (Iron) offers higher absorption and improves hemoglobin levels. Iron transports oxygen throughout the body and maintains red blood cells. Folic acid is essential for numerous bodily functions, including nucleotide biosynthesis and homocysteine remethylation. Vitamin C helps the body absorb more iron. Vitamin B12 promotes the initiation and maturation of blood cells, supporting pregnancy.
Ferrocin capsule can be taken orally with water, after meals. Use under medical supervision.
