Ferdu-XT Tablet is a combination of three nutritional supplements used to treat iron deficiency and anemia. It works by replenishing the iron stores in your body and correcting iron deficiency anemia by enhancing the absorption of iron in the body. It also helps in the formation of red blood cells. Ferdu-XT Tablet can be taken with or without food. Intake of dairy products with this medicine should be avoided. It should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. This medicine should not be consumed more than the recommended dose.
Ferdu-XT Tablet is a combination of three nutritional supplements. Ferrous Ascorbate is a combination of iron and vitamin C. Iron replenishes the iron stores in your body and corrects iron deficiency anemia. Vitamin C (ascorbate) is added to enhance the absorption of iron in the body. Folic Acid is a form of vitamin B. It plays a vital role in the formation of red blood cells which carry oxygen throughout the body. It is also essential in pregnancy due to its role in the development of the unborn baby's brain and spinal cord. Zinc is a micromineral that provides nutrition.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ferdu-XT Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Avoid Ferdu-XT Tablet with dairy products such as milk, cheese, curd, butter, paneer and ice cream.

- It is better to take Ferdu-XT Tablet after a meal in order to reduce stomach discomfort.
- Let your doctor know if you are taking any antibiotics.
- Inform your doctor if you have any gastrointestinal disorders like peptic ulcers or ulcerative colitis.
- Iron supplements can make your stools look darker in color. This is completely harmless.
