Ferasiro 360mg Tablet traps and removes excess iron which is then excreted mainly in the stools. This reduces the risk of organ damage.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ferasiro 360mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
- Ferasiro 360mg Tablet is used to reduce excess iron from the body.
- Inform your doctor if you also have upper stomach pain, clay-colored stools, or jaundice (yellowing of your skin or the whites of your eyes).
- Take an adequate amount of water while taking Ferasiro 360mg Tablet.
- Ferasiro 360mg Tablet may cause dizziness. It is advisable not to drive or operate any machinery until you feel normal again.
- If you are taking any antacid, take them 2 hours before or after Ferasiro 360mg Tablet.
- Inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney disease.
- Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Alcohol
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Ferasiro 360mg Tablet. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeed
Ferasiro 360mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Pregnancy
Ferasiro 360mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
