Syrup
Fe com syrup is a unique haematinic preparation that combines the benefits of Iron(III)-hydroxide Polymaltose Complex and Folic acid. The Iron(III)-hydroxide Polymaltose Complex is an iron preparation that contains non-ionic iron and polymaltose in a stable complex, which prevents the formation of free radicals and provides rapid absorption, high rate of iron utilization, and excellent gastro-intestinal tolerance. Folic acid is a vital component for the production of healthy red blood cells. Fe com syrup is used to treat iron deficiency anaemia, pernicious anaemia, and megaloblastic anaemia.
Fe com syrup can be taken orally with water, after meals, under medical supervision.
The Iron(III)-hydroxide Polymaltose Complex in Fe com syrup provides iron in ferric form, which prevents the formation of free radicals and allows for rapid absorption and high rate of iron utilization. Folic acid is essential for the production of healthy red blood cells.
