Faithcef-AZ LB Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat various types of bacterial infections. It fights against microorganisms to prevent their growth and further spread of the infection. Faithcef-AZ LB Tablet is a prescription medicine. It is advised to take it as per the prescription. It can be taken with or without food but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose as this may have harmful effects on your body. Faithcef-AZ LB Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Cefixime, Azithromycin, and Lactobacillus. Cefixime is an antibiotic which works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Azithromycin is also an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Together, they eradicate your infection effectively. Lactobacillus is a live micro-organism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.
Can I discontinue treatment with Faithcef-AZ LB Tablet once my symptoms improve?
No, it is essential to complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better, as this ensures that the infection is fully cleared.
What should I do if I miss a dose of Faithcef-AZ LB Tablet?
If you forget to take your dose, take Faithcef-AZ LB Tablet as soon as possible. However, if it's close to the time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular dosing schedule. Do not double up on doses or attempt to make up for a missed dose by taking an extra dose.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Faithcef-AZ LB Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
