Ezycool S Suspension is a combination medicine used in the treatment of acidity, stomach ulcer, and heartburn. Ezycool S Suspension is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine. Do not take it for more than the recommended duration as long-term administration may have harmful effects on the health.
Ezycool S Suspension is a combination of two medicines: Sucralfate and Oxetacaine / Oxethazaine. Sucralfate is a medication to treat ulcers. It covers the damaged ulcer tissue in the stomach and protects it from acid or injury to facilitate healing. Oxetacaine / Oxethazaine is a local anesthetic whose numbing effect provides fast relief from pain caused due to ulcers or acidic injury in the stomach.
What is the purpose of prescribing Ezycool S Suspension?
Ezycool S Suspension is prescribed for the treatment of acidity, heartburn, and stomach ulcers.
How should I take Ezycool S Suspension?
Take Ezycool S Suspension on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal.
Can I drink water immediately after taking Ezycool S Suspension?
Avoid drinking anything immediately after taking Ezycool S Suspension as this can reduce its effectiveness. You may consume fluids later if necessary.
Could Ezycool S Suspension cause constipation?
Ezycool S Suspension contains Sucralfate, which could potentially lead to constipation. To prevent constipation, eat high-fiber foods like vegetables, fruits, and cereals, drink plenty of water, and engage in regular exercise (swimming, jogging, or a short walk). If constipation persists, consult your doctor.
Can I stop taking Ezycool S Suspension as soon as my symptoms improve?
No. You must continue to take Ezycool S Suspension for the full prescribed duration, even if you start feeling better. Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Ezycool S Suspension is to be taken empty stomach.
