Exnib 11mg Tablet ER is used to treat moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and ulcerative colitis. It helps decrease pain, tenderness, and swelling in the joints by reducing inflammation. Exnib 11mg Tablet ER may be prescribed by itself or in combination with another medicine. The tablets can be taken with or without food and it is best to take them at the same time each day. Your dose will depend on your condition and what other medicines you are taking. You should use it as your doctor tells you to. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to because your condition could get worse.
Exnib 11mg Tablet ER is a Janus kinase inhibitor. It works by blocking the action of the enzyme Janus kinase. This decreases the activity of the immune system and inflammation associated with rheumatic diseases and ulcerative colitis.
Can I take Exnib 11mg Tablet ER if I have liver problems?
You should inform your doctor about any history of liver problems before starting Exnib 11mg Tablet ER. This is because Exnib 11mg Tablet ER may cause an increase in liver enzymes, and a liver function test is needed prior to treatment. Although Exnib 11mg Tablet ER can be prescribed for patients with mild to moderate liver impairment, it should not be prescribed to those with severe liver impairment.
Can Exnib 11mg Tablet ER cause cancer?
Exnib 11mg Tablet ER may increase the chance of developing certain cancers (lymphoma and other cancers including skin cancers) by affecting the immune system. It is important to inform your doctor if you have ever had or currently have any type of cancer.
What is Exnib 11mg Tablet ER used for?
Exnib 11mg Tablet ER is approved for use in people with moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis. It helps to reduce the inflammation in joints. How long does it take for Exnib 11mg Tablet ER to start working?
It usually takes about 2 to 8 weeks before you start feeling better, and it can take 3 to 6 months to feel the full effect of this medication.
Do I need to get any investigations done before starting Exnib 11mg Tablet ER?
You may need blood tests before starting Exnib 11mg Tablet ER or while you are taking it.
