Esoden D 30mg/40mg Capsule is a prescription medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux) and indigestion by relieving symptoms such as heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation. Esoden D 30mg/40mg Capsule is a combination medication used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and indigestion. It helps alleviate symptoms like heartburn, stomach pain, and irritation by neutralizing stomach acid and promoting the easy passage of gas. The medicine combines Domperidone, a prokinetic that enhances the movement of the stomach and intestines, and Esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid production. While generally well-tolerated, long-term use may lead to weak bones and mineral deficiencies. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.
Esoden D 30mg/40mg Capsule is a combination of Domperidone and Esomeprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic that increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach. Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the amount of acid in the stomach, helping to relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Esoden D 30mg/40mg Capsule is to be taken on an empty stomach, preferably one hour before a meal.
- You have been prescribed Esoden D 30mg/40mg Capsule for the treatment of acidity and heartburn.
- Take it one hour before the meal, preferably in the morning.
- It is a well-tolerated medicine and provides relief for a long time.
- Inform your doctor if you get watery diarrhea, fever, or stomach pain that does not go away.
- Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking it for 14 days as you may be suffering from some other problem that needs attention.
- Long-term use can cause weak bones and deficiency of minerals such as magnesium. Take adequate dietary intake of calcium and magnesium or their supplements as prescribed by your doctor.
Alcohol
Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Esoden D 30mg/40mg Capsule. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeed
Esoden D 30mg/40mg Capsule is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Pregnancy
