Eminorm 5mg Tablet MD is used in the treatment of vertigo, nausea, vomiting, migraine, and non-psychotic anxiety. Eminorm 5mg Tablet MD is a medication used to treat vertigo (dizziness) due to ear problems such as Meniere’s syndrome and other labyrinthine disorders. It is also effective in managing nausea, vomiting, and migraines caused by various conditions. Additionally, it can be used as a short-term treatment for non-psychotic anxiety. The medicine works by blocking certain receptors in the brain and inner ear, thereby reducing symptoms of dizziness, nausea, and vomiting. It is important to follow the prescribed dosage and consult a doctor for any side effects or precautions.
Eminorm 5mg Tablet MD is a vestibular suppressant that suppresses the vestibular apparatus in the inner ear by blocking the H1 receptor, thereby stopping vertigo. It acts within 30 minutes and is effective during acute attacks. It also acts as a dopamine antagonist, blocking the action of dopamine which controls the region in the brain that causes nausea and vomiting. Additionally, it acts as a serotonin (5HT3) receptor antagonist and dopamine (D2) receptor antagonist, which helps relieve headache and anxiety.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not handle the tablets with wet hands. Put it in your mouth but do not swallow it. Eminorm 5mg Tablet MD is to be taken with food.
Alcohol
Eminorm 5mg Tablet MD may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Breastfeed
Eminorm 5mg Tablet MD should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body. However, occasional short-term use of Eminorm 5mg Tablet MD for the treatment of nausea and vomiting poses little risk to the breastfed infant.
