Eligard Depot 45mg Injection is used to treat prostate cancer, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and central precocious puberty. It is given as an injection either under the skin or into a muscle. It may cause dizziness and visual disturbances. Don't drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you.
Directions for Use
Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self-administer.
How it works
Reduces the amount of sex hormones (testosterone in men and estrogen in women)..Decreases the blood levels of testosterone in males..Shuts off hormones made by the ovaries (female reproductive organs) so the estrogen level is lowered.
