Elclari 500mg Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat various types of infections, including respiratory tract, ear, nose, throat, lungs, and skin infections, as well as H. pylori-related peptic ulcer disease. Elclari 500mg Tablet is an antibiotic that works by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. It is effective against a wide range of bacterial infections, including those caused by H. pylori. It is taken orally, preferably one hour before or two hours after a meal, and should be used regularly at evenly spaced time intervals as prescribed by your doctor. Common side effects include diarrhea, nausea, abnormal taste, indigestion, abdominal pain, headache, vomiting, and rash. These side effects are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Elclari 500mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Avoid Elclari 500mg Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats, and some types of beer.
- Your doctor has prescribed Elclari 500mg Tablet to cure your infection and improve your symptoms.
- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection to come back and harder to treat.
- Take it 1 hour before or two hours after food.
- Do not take antacids 2 hours before or after taking Elclari 500mg Tablet.
- Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.
- Stop taking Elclari 500mg Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue, or breathing difficulties while taking it.

Alcohol
Consuming alcohol with Elclari 500mg Tablet does not cause any harmful side effects.
Breastfeed
Elclari 500mg Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Pregnancy
Elclari 500mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
