Duman Tablet is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia by shrinking the size of the enlarged prostate gland to relieve symptoms like pain and difficulty in passing urine. Duman Tablet is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor that blocks an enzyme necessary to change testosterone to another hormone that causes the prostate to grow. It helps to shrink the prostate and relieve symptoms like difficulty in passing urine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Duman Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- Your doctor has prescribed Duman Tablet to shrink the enlarged prostate and reduce the risk of urinary retention.
- It may take 3 to 6 months to see the full beneficial effect of Duman Tablet. Hence, continue taking the medicine as advised by your doctor.
- Duman Tablet is usually well tolerated. However, it may produce some mild sexual side effects such as low sexual drive.
- Do not donate blood for 6 months after taking the last dose of Duman Tablet.
