Doxybenz-LB Capsule is a combination medicine that is used to treat various types of bacterial infections. It prevents the growth of the microorganisms that cause the infection. Doxybenz-LB Capsule is a prescription medicine and it is advised to take it as per the doctor's advice. It can be taken with or without food but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose as this may have harmful effects on your body.
Doxybenz-LB Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Doxycycline and Lactobacillus.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Doxybenz-LB Capsule may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
- Discontinue the medicine and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.
- Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Doxybenz-LB Capsule.
Breastfeed
Doxybenz-LB Capsule is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Pregnancy
Doxybenz-LB Capsule is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby.
