Divigel Mouth Gel is a combination of two medicines used to treat mouth ulcers, reducing pain, swelling, redness, and burning sensation. Divigel Mouth Gel should be used as directed by your doctor and use it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Apply it only in the mouth with clean hands. Do not use it more than the recommended dose. This medicine is generally safe and does not cause any side effects. However, if you experience any allergic reactions such as itching, swelling, rashes, etc., you should consult the doctor immediately.
Divigel Mouth Gel is a combination of two medicines: Choline Salicylate and Lidocaine. Choline Salicylate is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) which cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to the brain which decreases the pain sensation.
How long should I wait after taking Choline Divigel Mouth Gel before eating food?
Do not consume food for 1 hour following administration of Divigel Mouth Gel as it may impair swallowing ability.
What are the storage and disposal guidelines for Divigel Mouth Gel?
Store this medication in its original container, tightly sealed. Follow the instructions on the packaging label regarding storage and disposal. Do not consume unused medication; dispose of it properly to prevent accidental ingestion by pets, children, or other individuals.
Check the label for directions before use. Gently apply the gel to the affected area inside your mouth. Refrain from eating or drinking immediately after applying the gel.
