Diplocef OZ 200mg/500mg Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat various types of bacterial infections. Diplocef OZ 200mg/500mg Tablet is a prescription medicine. Diplocef OZ 200mg/500mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Cefixime and Ornidazole. Cefixime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Ornidazole kills other infectious microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
What if I miss a dose of Diplocef OZ 200mg/500mg Tablet?
Take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your regular medication at the scheduled time. Never double up on doses to compensate for missed doses.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Diplocef OZ 200mg/500mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection to come back and harder to treat.
- Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
Alcohol
