Deflar 6 Tablet is a corticosteroid used for the treatment of various diseases and conditions such as inflammatory conditions and autoimmune conditions. Deflar 6 Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called steroids. It is used for the treatment of various diseases and conditions such as inflammatory conditions and autoimmune conditions. It is used to help treat inflammation, severe allergies, flare-ups of ongoing illnesses, and many other medical problems that require either reduction of inflammation or suppression of the immune system.
Deflar 6 Tablet is a corticosteroid. It increases the level of glucocorticoid in the body and works by decreasing the formation of substances that cause inflammation and suppresses immunity to stop self damage to the body by the immune system (auto-immune reactions occurring in organ transplants or cancer).
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Deflar 6 Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Avoid Deflar 6 Tablet with salad and vegetable diet.
- Do not use it more often or for longer than advised by your doctor.
- Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach.
- Deflar 6 Tablet can make it harder for you to fight off infections. Notify your doctor if you have any signs of infection such as a fever or sore throat.
- Side effects such as mood changes or stomach problems can happen when you start taking Deflar 6 Tablet. Inform your doctor if this bothers you.
- Do not stop taking Deflar 6 Tablet suddenly without talking to your doctor first as it may worsen your symptoms.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Deflar 6 Tablet.
Breastfeed
Deflar 6 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Pregnancy
Deflar 6 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
