Dapaturn-S 5mg/100mg Tablet is a combination medicine that helps control blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Dapaturn-S 5mg/100mg Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medications. It helps in proper utilization of insulin, thereby lowering the blood sugar level. It can be taken with or without food at any time of day but try to take it at the same time every day. The dose will be decided by your doctor and don’t stop taking it without consulting them.

How it works

Dapaturn-S 5mg/100mg Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medications. Dapagliflozin increases urinary glucose excretion and reduces blood glucose levels. Sitagliptin reduces the amount of glucose produced by the liver by raising insulin levels and decreasing the levels of glucagon (the hormone that increases blood glucose level).

Direction of use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Dapaturn-S 5mg/100mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Tips

• Practice good hygiene to prevent genital fungal and/or urinary tract infections.
• Always carry some sugary food or fruit juice with you in case you experience hypoglycemia symptoms.
• Monitor your blood sugar regularly while taking this medicine.
• Drink plenty of fluids while using it to prevent dehydration.
