Cyclin 1% Eye Drop is used before eye examinations and for treatment of an eye condition called uveitis. It works by enlarging the pupil of the eyes and helps the doctor visualize the eye more closely. Cyclin 1% Eye Drop is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Refrain from touching the tip of the dropper to avoid contaminating the eye drops. Using Cyclin 1% Eye Drop can make your eyes more sensitive to light. Thus, wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from sunlight and other bright lights. The common side effects include burning sensation, irritation, or temporarily blurring of the vision. Usually, these symptoms resolve quickly. However, if the symptoms persist for a longer duration, contact your doctor. It is not advised to drive after using this medicine as it may cause blurring of the vision.
Cyclin 1% Eye Drop is used to dilate or enlarge the pupil of the eye so that the doctor can examine the back of the eyeball. It may also be used to reduce pain in certain eye conditions.

Cyclin 1% Eye Drop is a mydriatic and anticholinergic drug used to enlarge the pupil (preventing eye focusing) and temporarily paralyze the lens before an eye examination or surgery.

Cyclin 1% Eye Drop is prescribed for microbial keratitis to manage pain and prevent synechia formation (iris adherence to cornea).
How long does Cyclin 1% Eye Drop take to work?
Cyclin 1% Eye Drop typically starts working within 30-60 minutes.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.
- Cyclin 1% Eye Drop enlarges the pupil for eye examination and is commonly used in adults.
- Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop.
- Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
- Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 mins. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer.
- Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.

Breastfeed
Cyclin 1% Eye Drop is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. To reduce the amount of Cyclin 1% Eye Drop that reaches the breastmilk, place pressure over the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more, then remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue.
Pregnancy
