CTD-MT 12.5/25/40 Tablet ER is a combination medicine used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It works by relaxing blood vessels and making the heart more efficient at pumping blood. How it works

CTD-MT 12.5/25/40 Tablet ER is a combination of three medicines: Chlorthalidone, Metoprolol Succinate and Telmisartan which lower blood pressure effectively.

Direction of use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. CTD-MT 12.5/25/40 Tablet ER may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Tips

• It may cause more frequent urination. Take it at least 4 hrs before bedtime to avoid waking up to urinate.
• It may cause the level of potassium in blood to go up. Avoid taking potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli.
• It may cause dizziness. Get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position.
• CTD-MT 12.5/25/40 Tablet ER may cause dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids and Inform your doctor if you develop extreme thirst, muscle weakness or very dry mouth.
• Do not stop taking CTD-MT 12.5/25/40 Tablet ER suddenly without talking to your doctor.
