Do not alter the dose by yourself as it can result in unwanted side effects in your child.
Copar 1.25mg/125mg Syrup contains two medicines: Metoclopramide and Paracetamol. Metoclopramide is an antiemetic that works on the vomiting center in the brain. It also increases the movement of the stomach and intestines allowing food to move more easily through the stomach. This prevents nausea and vomiting caused due to migraines. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an antipyretic (fever reducer) which blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that cause the pain associated with migraine.
If diarrhea develops as a side effect, encourage your child to drink plenty of fluids. Never give any other medicines containing paracetamol along with this medicine as that may lead to serious side effects. Do not mix Copar 1.25mg/125mg Syrup with any herbal or ayurvedic preparations as it will not be effective. Do not alter the dose by yourself as it can result in unwanted side effects in your child. Stop the medicine and report to the doctor on an immediate basis if your child exhibits side effects such as itching, breathing difficulty, and swelling of the face soon after taking Copar 1.25mg/125mg Syrup.
