Cinarate 20mg/40mg Tablet is used to treat vertigo. It is a combination medicine which acts by relaxing vascular smooth muscles of the blood vessels of the ear and improves the blood circulation. Cinarate 20mg/40mg Tablet should be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. Take this medicine as advised by your doctor and preferably at a fixed time each day. Do not skip any doses but if you miss a dose of this medicine take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of treatment and never stop this medicine suddenly without talking to your doctor.
Cinarate 20mg/40mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cinnarizine and Dimenhydrinate. Cinnarizine is a calcium channel antagonist which works by preventing constriction of the blood vessels of the inner ear. This improves the microcirculation of the ear. Dimenhydrinate is an antiallergic. It blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) that is responsible for light-headedness in vertigo.

Yes, Cinarate 20mg/40mg Tablet can cause drowsiness. Avoid driving, operating machinery, working at heights or engaging in potentially dangerous activities until you know how this medicine affects you.
Can Cinarate 20mg/40mg Tablet cause indigestion?
Cinarate 20mg/40mg Tablet may cause indigestion. However, taking it with or after food can help prevent this side effect. If indigestion persists, consult your doctor.
Are there any contraindications associated with the use of Cinarate 20mg/40mg Tablet?
Cinarate 20mg/40mg Tablet is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the active substances, diphenhydramine or other antihistamines of similar structure, or any of the excipients. It should also be avoided in individuals with glaucoma, seizures, increased intracranial pressure, alcohol abuse, urinary issues, liver or kidney disease. It is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
What if I accidentally take too much of this medicine?
Seek immediate medical attention (visit the nearest emergency department) if you accidentally consume a large amount of this medication. Symptoms of an overdose may include fatigue, dilated pupils, inability to urinate, dry mouth, flushing, rapid heartbeat, sweating, headache, dizziness and shakiness.
What if I miss a dose of Cinarate 20mg/40mg Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Cinarate 20mg/40mg Tablet, simply skip the missed dose and take your next dose at its usual time and quantity. Do not double your dosage to compensate for a missed dose.
Can I stop taking Cinarate 20mg/40mg Tablet if I feel well?
You should not discontinue using this medication before consulting with your doctor. Stopping Cinarate 20mg/40mg Tablet prematurely could lead to the recurrence of vertigo symptoms (dizziness and spinning).
