Cfara Injection is used to treat children, teenagers and young adults with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) when previous treatments have not worked or have stopped working. Cfara Injection is an anticancer medication used with certain other medicines as part of combination chemotherapy. It is given as an injection into the vein under the supervision of a doctor. The most common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, and rash. Regular blood tests are required to check blood cells, heart, liver, and blood uric acid levels.
Cfara Injection is an anticancer medication that works by preventing the multiplication of abnormal white blood cells by suppressing the production of the cells' genetic material (DNA). Cancer cells require DNA for growth and multiplication.
Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self-administer.
Alcohol
Cfara Injection may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Breastfeed
Cfara Injection is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Pregnancy
Cfara Injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
