Ceracal 30mg Tablet is used to treat high calcium levels in the blood and hyperparathyroidism. Ceracal 30mg Tablet may be used alone or in combination with other medicines. It is best taken with a meal or shortly after a meal. Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor will decide the dose and how often you should take them. You should take this medicine regularly to get the most benefit from it. Do not stop taking the medicine even if you feel better unless the doctor tells you so.
Ceracal 30mg Tablet works by lowering a chemical (parathyroid hormone) which makes calcium level go back to normal.
When should Ceracal 30mg Tablet be taken?
Ceracal 30mg Tablet can be taken with any meal once daily. It is recommended to take the tablet at a fixed time each day to prevent missing doses. This medication should be taken orally once daily after meals.
Can Ceracal 30mg Tablet cause diarrhea?
Yes, Ceracal 30mg Tablet can cause diarrhea in some patients during treatment. This medication may cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea as side effects. If you experience any of these side effects, contact your doctor immediately.
Does Ceracal 30mg Tablet contain lactose?

- Ceracal 30mg Tablet treats hyperparathyroidism and high calcium levels in the blood.
- It should be taken with or shortly after food.
- Ceracal 30mg Tablet may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
- Inform your doctor if you start or stop smoking during treatment with Ceracal 30mg Tablet.
- Your doctor may monitor your calcium levels regularly during treatment with Ceracal 30mg Tablet. Inform your doctor if you notice signs of low calcium levels such as numbness or tingling around the mouth or muscle aches.
- Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures, heart problems, or liver problems.
Alcohol
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Ceracal 30mg Tablet. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeed
Ceracal 30mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Pregnancy
