Cefik O Dry Syrup is an antibiotic medicine that treats bacterial infections in children and adolescents. It contains two antibiotics, cefixime and ofloxacin, which work by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) and directly interacting with the genetic material of bacteria. The dose and duration depend upon the type and severity of the infection, the child's age, and body weight. It is essential to stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed by the doctor. If the child vomits within 30 minutes of intake, repeat the same dose but do not double dose if it's time for the next dose.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Dissolve the powder in sterile water. Shake well and use. Cefik O Dry Syrup is to be taken with food.

Cefik O Dry Syrup contains two antibiotics, cefixime and ofloxacin, which work by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) and directly interacting with the genetic material of bacteria. As a consequence, the infection-causing bacteria stop growing further and the spread of the infection is successfully arrested.

Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again or cause another infection. Give this medicine with food to avoid an upset stomach. Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case diarrhea develops as a side effect. Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Cefik O Dry Syrup as these can affect the absorption of the medicine. Only give Cefik O Dry Syrup to your child for their current infection. Never save medicine for future illnesses.
