Cyproterone works by blocking the overproduction of androgens (male hormones) in the ovaries, thereby reducing unwanted hair growth and acne. Ethinyl Estradiol enhances the effect of Cyproterone by reducing the amount of androgens in the blood. Together, they also regularize the menstrual cycle in PCOS.

Carrol Tablet is a combination medication containing Cyproterone and Ethinyl Estradiol. Cyproterone works by blocking the overproduction of androgens (male hormones) in the ovaries, reducing unwanted hair growth and acne. How and in what dose should I take Carrol Tablet?
Carrol Tablet must be started on day 1 or 2 of your menstrual cycle. The dosage is prescribed by your doctor. It's recommended to take the medication at the same time each day for consistent medication levels in your body.
What if I miss a dose of Carrol Tablet?
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If more than 12 hours have passed since the missed dose, do not take it and simply continue with your usual dosage schedule. However, to prevent pregnancy, use a non-hormonal birth control method (like condoms) during this cycle.
What if I vomit after taking Carrol Tablet for a few hours?
If you experience vomiting within 3-4 hours of taking the tablet, repeat the dose.
Does Carrol Tablet also work as a contraceptive?
Yes, if taken properly, Carrol Tablet acts as an effective form of contraception. However, discontinue using any other type of birth control pill while taking Carrol Tablet.
What are the common side effects of taking Carrol Tablet?

How long will Carrol Tablet take to reduce acne?
