Capaldo Gel is a combination medicine that helps in relieving pain by cooling and warming the skin, improving blood circulation, and distracting from pain. Capaldo Gel is only meant for external use and should be used strictly as advised by your doctor. It is a combination of four medicines: Diclofenac, Capsaicin, Methyl Salicylate, Menthol, and Linseed Oil, which relieves pain and inflammation. Rub a thin layer of the medicine into the affected areas with clean and dry hands. Avoid getting in contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth and avoid applying it on wounded or damaged skin. In case of accidental contact with these areas, rinse it with plenty of cold water.
Capaldo Gel is a combination of four medicines: Diclofenac, Capsaicin, Methyl Salicylate, Menthol, and Linseed Oil, which relieves pain and inflammation. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain, fever, and inflammation. Capsaicin works by blocking pain messages to the nerves. This relieves minor aches and pains in the muscles and joints. Methyl Salicylate and Menthol are topical analgesics (pain relievers) that work by first cooling the skin and then warming it up, distracting from feeling the pain.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying unless hands are the affected area.
- Apply 2-3 times daily or as prescribed by the doctor
- Do not apply to large areas of skin or near sensitive areas such as private parts or on broken or injured skin
- Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, nose, and rinse thoroughly in case of accidental contact or seek medical help in case of swallowing
- Avoid applying Capaldo Gel right after bathing or shaving
- Consult your doctor if you get excessive skin irritation or other unwanted effects
