Introduction

Calcit SG Capsule is a vitamin D analog that helps in the treatment of calcium deficiency and metabolic bone disease. It increases the levels of vitamin D in your blood, which in turn raises calcium levels in the blood by helping in the absorption of more calcium from your intestine. This medicine is also beneficial in increasing muscle mass, helps in the prevention and treatment of hypocalcemia, and reduces fatigue and muscular pains. It boosts immunity and increases body resistance against infection.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Calcit SG Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Calcit SG Capsule is used to treat and prevent low levels of calcium and bone disease in patients whose kidneys or parathyroid glands are not working normally. Calcitriol (a vitamin D analog) works by helping the body to use more of the calcium found in foods or supplements and regulating the body's production of parathyroid hormone.
