Brofer Syrup is used to treat cough by thinning, decreasing the stickiness and loosening mucus in the nose and windpipe, making it easier to cough out. Brofer Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Terbutaline, Bromhexine, and Guaifenesin which relieve cough with mucus. It is better to take it in a dose and duration advised by the doctor. Inform the doctor if you have suffered or are currently suffering from any stomach, lung, liver, or kidney disease.
Brofer Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Terbutaline, Bromhexine, and Guaifenesin which relieve cough with mucus. Terbutaline is a bronchodilator that works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens airways. Bromhexine is a mucolytic that thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) making it easier to cough out. Guaifenesin is an expectorant that decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Brofer Syrup may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
