Biocet 10mg Tablet is an antihistamine used to treat various allergic conditions such as hay fever, conjunctivitis, skin reactions, and reactions to bites and stings. Biocet 10mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines. It is used to treat various allergic conditions such as hay fever, conjunctivitis, some skin reactions such as eczema, hives, and reactions to bites and stings. It also relieves watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing, and itching.
Biocet 10mg Tablet is an antihistaminic medication. It treats allergy symptoms such as itching, swelling, and rashes by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Biocet 10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- Your doctor has prescribed Biocet 10mg Tablet to help relieve allergy symptoms such as itching, swelling, and rashes.
- Be cautious while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as it can cause dizziness and sleepiness.
- Do not drink alcohol while taking this medication as it may cause increased sleepiness.
- Stop taking Biocet 10mg Tablet at least three days before taking an allergy test as it can affect the test results.
Alcohol
Biocet 10mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Breastfeed
Biocet 10mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Pregnancy
Biocet 10mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby.
