Azoalfa 50 Tablet is an immunosuppressant used to prevent organ rejection after a transplant and treat rheumatoid arthritis. Azoalfa 50 Tablet works by weakening the body's immune system so it does not attack the new organ. Azoalfa 50 Tablet is an immunosuppressant. It reduces the action of body's own defense system (the immune system) and prevents rejection of the transplanted organ. It also blocks the action of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for inflammation, swelling, and redness associated with certain joint diseases.
What is Azoalfa 50 Tablet prescribed for? How does it work?
Azoalfa 50 Tablet is an immunosuppressant, which means it suppresses the immune system to prevent overactive responses. Your immune system normally protects you from infections. However, in some cases, the immune system can become overly active and cause illness. Azoalfa 50 Tablet is used in combination with other medications to treat conditions associated with these abnormal immune system responses. It's used to prevent organ rejection after transplants like kidneys, hearts, or livers. It also treats chronic active hepatitis, severe rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, and acquired hemolytic anemia. It can also be used to treat severe skin diseases (pemphigus vulgaris, dermatomyositis, polyarteritis nodosa, pyoderma gangrenosa) particularly when corticosteroids cannot be used.
How long does Azoalfa 50 Tablet take to start working?
It may take about 3 to 12 weeks before noticeable benefits are observed. Please continue the medication even if you don't notice any immediate improvements. Consult your doctor if you face difficulties.
What happens if I forget to take Azoalfa 50 Tablet?

Alcohol
