Azaglob 50mg Tablet is an immunosuppressant. It reduces the action of body's own defense system (the immune system) and prevents rejection of the transplanted organ. It also blocks the action of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for inflammation, swelling, and redness associated with certain joint diseases.
What is Azaglob 50mg Tablet prescribed for? How does it work?
Azaglob 50mg Tablet is an immunosuppressant that suppresses the immune defense system. Your immune system helps protect you against infections. However, sometimes your immune system becomes overactive and can cause illness. Azaglob 50mg Tablet is used in combination with other medications to treat conditions caused by this abnormal immune activity. It is used to prevent organ rejection, such as kidney, heart, or liver transplants. It is also used for treating chronic active hepatitis, severe rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, and acquired hemolytic anemia. Additionally, it is used for severe skin diseases like pemphigus vulgaris, dermatomyositis, polyarteritis nodosa, and pyoderma gangrenosa.
How long does Azaglob 50mg Tablet take to start working?
It may take about 3 to 12 weeks before you see any benefits. Continue taking the medication even if you don't notice any improvement right away.
What happens if I forget to take Azaglob 50mg Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Azaglob 50mg Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. If you have missed two doses in a row or more than twice, speak with your doctor.

Report any unusual symptoms to your doctor immediately such as: infection or fever, unexpected bruising or bleeding, black tarry stools, or blood in urine or stool. Inform your doctor if you notice any new skin sore, lumps, or changes in existing marks.
Do I need any special tests while I am on Azaglob 50mg Tablet?
Azaglob 50mg Tablet can reduce blood cell production and increase vulnerability to infections. Your doctor may recommend regular blood tests during the initial 8 weeks of treatment, including complete blood counts (CBC) with a focus on platelet count. If necessary, this frequency may be reduced to monthly or at least every three months.
Can Azaglob 50mg Tablet cause cancer?
Azaglob 50mg Tablet might increase the likelihood of developing certain cancers like skin cancer (melanoma), lymphomas, soft tissue sarcomas, and cervical cancer. Breastfeed
