Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medicine which prevents your body from making 'bad' cholesterol (LDL) while raising 'good' cholesterol (HDL) levels. Ezetimibe is a cholesterol absorption inhibitor which prevents absorption of cholesterol from the intestines. Together, they provide better reduction of cholesterol in your body.

Yes, Atorsave EZ 20mg/10mg Tablet may cause muscle pain, weakness, or cramps, which in rare cases can progress to a serious condition called rhabdomyolysis that can damage the kidneys. Report any unexplained muscle symptoms to your doctor immediately.
What precautions should I take before starting Atorsave EZ 20mg/10mg Tablet?
Before starting Atorsave EZ 20mg/10mg Tablet treatment, tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, thyroid problems, a history of muscle disorders, liver issues, or if you drink large amounts of alcohol. These conditions may increase the risk of side effects.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Atorsave EZ 20mg/10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.
- You have been prescribed Atorsave EZ 20mg/10mg Tablet for the treatment of high cholesterol.
- Take it in addition to regular exercise and low-fat diet to lower levels of fat in the blood.
- It can be taken with or without food.
- Notify your doctor if you experience muscle symptoms (pain or weakness), particularly if accompanied with fever.
- Notify your doctor if you experience stomach pain, loss of hunger, a sick feeling or dark urine.
