How it works

Ascent PT Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Aceclofenac, Paracetamol, and Tramadol. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) as well as an antipyretic (fever reducer). Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Together, both of them work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain. Tramadol is an opioid analgesic (very strong pain reliever) which works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower the pain perception.

Direction of use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ascent PT Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Tips

• Take it with food to avoid getting an upset stomach.
• It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you.
• Avoid consuming alcohol when taking this medicine as it may cause excessive drowsiness and increase the risk of liver damage.
• Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease as dose adjustment might be required.
