Arnicor 50 Tablet is a combination of two medicines used to treat heart failure. It reduces the risk of hospitalization and death in patients with long-lasting (chronic) heart failure. It is generally given along with other heart failure medications.
Arnicor 50 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Sacubitril and Valsartan which belong to a class of angiotensin receptor neprilysin inhibitor (ARNI). This combination treats heart failure by relaxing the blood vessels and making it easier for your heart to pump blood throughout your body. In addition, it also helps your body retain less water.
Who should avoid taking Arnicor 50 Tablet?
Patients who are allergic to any of its components should avoid Arnicor 50 Tablet. Additionally, individuals allergic to ACE inhibitors or ARBs should refrain from using this medication. It should not be used concurrently with other antihypertensive medications like ACE inhibitors or ARBs. Avoid taking it for at least 36 hours before or after an ACE inhibitor medicine if unsure, consult your doctor.
What should I tell my doctor before taking Arnicor 50 Tablet?
Inform your doctor about all medical conditions, including liver or kidney disease and a history of facial swelling (angioedema). Let them know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Additionally, disclose all medications you are taking, especially potassium supplements or their salt forms, painkillers, blood pressure-lowering agents (such as ACE inhibitors, ARBs or Aliskiren).

Alcohol
