Ano Metrogyl Cream is a medicine used to treat anal fissure (tear in the lining of the anus) by killing infection-causing bacteria and promoting healing. Ano Metrogyl Cream is a medicine used in the treatment of anal fissure (tear in the lining of the anus). It kills the infection-causing bacteria and promotes the healing of fissures. It also blocks the transmission of pain signals to the brain which decreases pain sensation.
Ano Metrogyl Cream is a combination of three medicines: Lidocaine, Metronidazole and sucralfate. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that blocks pain signals from the nerves to the brain, Metronidazole is an antibiotic that kills harmful bacteria, and sucralfate is a protective agent that forms a protective layer on the skin and prevents irritation, pain or burning sensation.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
