How it works

Anglocet Plus Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Paracetamol, Phenylpropanolamine, and Cetirizine. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that causes fever and pain. Phenylpropanolamine is a sympathomimetic agonist. It narrows blood vessels in the nose to relieve congestion. Cetirizine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing.

Direction of use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Anglocet Plus Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Tips

• Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended.
• Call your doctor if your symptoms have not improved within seven days of treatment.
• Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications for cold.
• Along with taking Anglocet Plus Tablet, do the following simple tips at home to get relief: steam inhalation, gargling with warm saltwater, apply vapor rubs on chest and back if needed, take enough rest, take warm food and fluid only, ensure adequate fluid intake, advise hygiene measures to reduce spread: frequent hand-washing, avoiding sharing towels, pillowcases, etc.
