Alnavas F 10mg/10mg Tablet is a combination of two lipid-lowering medicines used to lower cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood, reducing the risk of heart disease. Alnavas F 10mg/10mg Tablet is a combination of two lipid-lowering medicines used to lower cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood, reducing the risk of heart disease. It is used when lifestyle changes (eg. low-fat diet) on their own have failed.
Alnavas F 10mg/10mg Tablet is a combination of two lipid-lowering medicines.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Alnavas F 10mg/10mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
- Notify your doctor if you experience muscle symptoms (pain or weakness) particularly if accompanied with fever.
- Notify your doctor if you experience stomach pain, loss of hunger, a sick feeling or dark urine.
- Do not discontinue Alnavas F 10mg/10mg Tablet without consulting your doctor even if you feel better.
- Avoid alcohol consumption (includes wine, beer, and liquor).
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Alnavas F 10mg/10mg Tablet.
Breastfeed
Alnavas F 10mg/10mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Pregnancy
Alnavas F 10mg/10mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
