It can be taken with or without food but should be taken at a fixed time. If you miss a dose take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose. Vomiting, dizziness, nausea, headache, difficulty sleeping, and constipation are some of the common side effects that might be observed on taking this medicine. Some people may also experience anxiety, orthostatic hypotension (sudden decrease in blood pressure on standing), and diarrhea. Use caution while driving or using any machinery as it might cause drowsiness or visual disturbances.
Addnok Sublingual tablet is a opioid partial agonist. It prevents withdrawal symptoms in patients who stop taking opioid drugs by producing similar effects to these drugs. It also provides pain relief by acting on specific receptors in the brain that change how your body feels and responds to pain.
Place the tablet under the tongue or between the cheek and gum and let it dissolve. Do not chew, crush, or swallow the tablet. Addnok Sublingual tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
