Acyprove 250mg Injection is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections, including urinary tract, nose, throat, skin, and lung infections. Acyprove 250mg Injection is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections. It is also used to treat infections of the urinary tract, nose, throat, skin, and lungs (pneumonia). It works by stopping the growth of the causative microorganisms.
Acyprove 250mg Injection is an antibiotic. It works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them.
Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self-administer.
- Your doctor has prescribed Acyprove 250mg Injection to cure your infection and improve symptoms.
- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
- Discontinue Acyprove 250mg Injection and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.
- Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.
- Notify your doctor if you feel pain in your tendons, numbness, or tingling sensations.

Alcohol

Breastfeed
Acyprove 250mg Injection is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Baby should be closely monitored for development of fever, loss of appetite and diarrhea. In case, any of the above happens please inform your doctor immediately.
Pregnancy
Acyprove 250mg Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
