Ablin 100 Capsule is used to treat and prevent symptoms of asthma, bronchitis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (a lung disorder in which flow of air to the lung is blocked). Ablin 100 Capsule can be taken with the food in evening. Take it at the same time every day to get the most benefit. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. Do not miss even a single dose if in any case you missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember or better to skip the missed dose and continue with regular dosing. It does not work immediately or prevent the already started breathing trouble hence always carry your medical inhaler with you for an emergency.
Ablin 100 Capsule is a mucolytic and bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways and also thins and loosens mucus making it easier to breathe.
What is the interaction between birth control pills and Ablin 100 Capsule?
If you are taking birth control pills, your doctor may recommend reducing the dose of Ablin 100 Capsule as birth control pills can interfere with its clearance, potentially increasing its levels and the risk of side effects.
How should I take Ablin 100 Capsule?
Take Ablin 100 Capsule exactly as directed by your doctor. To minimize stomach upset, it is recommended to take it with food.
Can I safely take furosemide and Ablin 100 Capsule together?
Use caution if you are taking both furosemide and Ablin 100 Capsule, as their combined use may decrease potassium levels. Regular monitoring of your potassium levels is essential.
